If you wanted to, you could call the Roberts Invader a performance cruiser; it catches waves almost like a longboard but can still wrap carves and throw whip turns.
Beak nose, fuller volume, and mid-length describe features of boards from surfing’s past but they also add function to a style of performance board that makes the Invader very modern. The beaked nose brings volume forward into its longer length for paddling around the lineup with ease and catching waves the waves you want.
With a touch more rocker in the nose and tail than boards of past, the Invader makes steep drops and rebounds off white water much easier than retro crafts. Down rails lower the rail apex for a thinner feel while giving the Invader more hold and quicker turning ability.
