Collection: Firewire Sweet Potato by Dan Mann - Leave the Longboard at Home

Sure, longboards are fun. Every surfer should have one in their quiver and ride it at least a few times each year. When the waves suck and you really want to do some turns, however, it's time to break out the Sweet Potato. Designed to shred where you would usually just stand there, the Sweet Potato can catch flat-faced, knee-high waves that would usually require a 9'0". Plus, you can surf them. Like, bottom turn-top turn-cutback-bottom turn-blow tail surf them.

Dan Mann created a wide, thick, short, disc of a plank, and refined the nose, tail, and rails so it performs like a shortboard in gutless surf. Now you've got two options for weak summertime waves. You can cruise, or you can crank.
