Collection: Firewire Revo by Daniel "Tomo" Thomson - The Evolution of Performance
niel Thomson's EVO is fast and responsive like an HP but more forgiving and easier to surf. It's got more range than the Mashup, and has a different feel as well. If you're a fan of Tomo's QISC and VQC bottom hull designs, then we'd recommend this as your small-to-everyday-conditions board. With the multi-plane contours, the Revo has increased grip over standard concave bottom surfaces, making it more sure-footed in steeper waves and vertical pocket turns.
I-Bolic Technology pairs high-density foam at the rails (parabolic stringers), and an HD foam and fiberglass I-beam structure (center stringer) to fine a board's longitudinal and torsional flex. This reduces bogging in turns, keeps the board tracking where you want it to, and boosts projection out of turns. I-Bolic combines the light weight and springiness of Helium with the responsive and planted feel of an LFT board.
