Building on a sold foundation of a soft, pliable sole and an internal split toe, which imparts sensitivity and eliminates the chance of a leash between the toes, there's also an instep strap to keep the bootie fit snug to your foot, and an ankle strap to help keep water out. Inside, the same cozy, brushed grid thermal insulation layer found in Buell's RB2 wetsuits adds tons of warmth without bulk. A fine, file-tread grip gives sticky traction and still lets you reposition easily.
